 ___The Town’s Stadium is located near the multi-purpose sports complex which opened its doors to visitors in April 2014. Therefore a sports base renovated in all aspects will be equipped to provide more facilities to athletes training in Palanga.
The reconstructed running tracks were covered with new modern moisture-absorbing coating to ensure better bouncing. In addition to this, lawn irrigation system and storm drain system were installed at the Stadium along with replacement of power supply networks with new ones.
___The Stadium meets all international requirements applicable to track-and-field competitions, including the equipped sectors for the long jump, shot put, discus and hammer throw. Now Palanga is ready to host high-level international competitions.
___A spacious parking lot was renovated near the Stadium thus providing parking spaces for several hundred vehicles.
