___The Gymnasium gave spark to the idea of renovation of the stadium. Later phases of its implementation involved cooperation with Vilnius Football Club FK “Žalgiris”, Football Academy “Žalgirietis”, other academies, sports community, Vilnius City Municipality, and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania.
___A new football court with artificial turf was equipped. The football court (68 x 105 m) meets the requirements applicable to a two-star category under the FIFA-UEFA classification system. The football court has been equipped with 500-seat viewing stands. According to football experts, the current level is high enough to host the 1st league and lower league events of Lithuanian football championships.
