____Lithuanian national rowing sports base is located in the historic capital of Lithuania – Trakai, nearby a medieval castle, which determined the sensitive interaction between an old and modern architecture in design solutions.
____Trakai rowing base is one of the few that are situated within a natural water body. Rowing sports facilities have been designed in accordance with the rowing federation requirements.
____The base was modernized for the World Youth Rowing Championships U-23, which took place in summer of the year 2012.
